Catherine Titanus Mselema Mwale was born on March 9th, 1983, in Mwanga District, Kilimanjaro region, Tanzania. She is currently residing in the northern city of Mzuzu in Malawi. Catherine is married to a Malawian and is the proud mother of three children, consisting of two girls and a boy.
Catherine’s educational journey began with her ‘O’ level secondary education at Kisutu Girls, followed by her ‘A’ level studies at Jangwani Girls Secondary School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In 2009, she obtained her BSc in Nursing, and later in 2012, she earned her MSc in Mental Health Nursing from Muhimbili University of Health Sciences in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
With a passion for nursing, Catherine has dedicated her career to both bedside nursing and nurse education. Since 2010, she has served as a nurse educator and has been actively involved in mentoring, teaching, and supervising students. She has excelled in her role as a Senior Lecturer and currently holds the position of Dean of Academic Programs at St. John of God College of Health Sciences in Mzuzu, Malawi.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Catherine possesses a charming personality. She is always eager to learn new ideas and embrace new challenges for personal and professional growth. Catherine enjoys building new friendships and actively engaging in networking opportunities.
