WIDREM KUHeS Chapter held a celebration event at KUHES Mahatma Gandhi Campus in Blantyre on 3rd April, 2024. 26 Women were celebrated with some having attained PHD’s the past 3 years, some having promoted to the post of senior lecturer, associate professor and professor.
The event was graced by the Director General for National Commission of Science and Technology, Mrs. Gift A. Kadzamira as the Guest of honor, the KUHeS Deputy vice Chancellor Associate Prof Gombachika as the co-host and Dr Atupele Kapito- Tembo the WIDREM Chairperson as the second Co-host.
Directors, Deputy Directors, representatives and focal persons from various institutions affiliated with WIDREM were in attendance of the event.
