Wezi Mtinkheni Banda Bonyonga Dip in Nsg, UCM., Bsc Nsg Edu., MSc. Nsg Edu., is a nursingĀ education specialist and a Registered Nurse Midwife currently teaching at Holy Family College of Nursing and Midwifery soon to change its name to Holy Family College of Health Sciences. She is skilled in curriculum development, development of program of activities in alignment with the curriculum, implementation and evaluation of educational program. Committed to utilizing teaching techniques that promote critical thinking, clinical reasoning and evidence based practice in promoting principles of adult learning theory. Wezi is passionate about enhancing student learning, promoting professional development and improvement of nursing education. She has been involved in a needs assessment activity and development of curricula in collaboration with Malawi College of Health Sciences Lilongwe campus for Pharmacy Assistants and Certificate in Clinical Medicine Programs. Wezi has rich experience working in public hospitals providing bedside nursing and student clinical teaching having previously worked as a ward in-charge and a unit matron respectively. She is currently working under CHAM as a lecturer at Holy Family College of Nursing in the Medical and Surgical Nursing department, providing both classroom and clinical teaching. Was awarded best lecturer award for the academic year 2021-2022.
