A workshop was conducted on the 7th and 8th June, 2023 for members to map the way forward for WIDREM. This was part of the process of developing the first ever strategic plan for the network.

Among other things that were discussed during the workshop, the following were some of the outcomes; the acronym “WIDREM” to change to “WHREM” (Women in Health Research Network, Malawi), vision and mission statements were reconstructed, Goals and objectives for the network were developed for the next 5 years.
