Mary Miston Kachingwe-Sisya Mbeba is an Associate Professor of Medical and Surgical Nursing; Adult Health at Kamuzu College of Nursing of the University of Malawi. She received an Award for Best Research in Hypertension Control Intervention, Prevention of Cardiac Diseases; and was inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honour Society, Kappa Chapter. She worked as a Head of Medical and Surgical Nursing Department. She was one of the founders of Malawi Network of AIDS Service Organizations (MANASO). In 2005 she won a scholarship to study Advanced Diploma in International Research Ethics at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She obtained She was an intervention coordinator in a five years HIV and AIDS collaborative research between. In 2010-2014 she studied with University of South Africa (UNISA) in Pretoria and was awarded Doctor of Literature and Philosophy in Health Studies.
